On the test days my student will be testing, what time should they be at school?

Your student should arrive at school no later than 7:20 as testing will begin promptly at 7:30 in assigned classrooms on campus.  It will be critical for your student to be at their testing station on time to receive the group instructions required for each test.  (PLEASE carefully note the calendar dates above).


Do busses run on the testing days?

Busses will run on a regular schedule arriving to and from FMHS.  When students have completed their tests they are free to leave campus.  Buses will leave FMHS at 2:50pm.


Will Career Center and WCCC still be having classes during the test period?

Career Center will NOT be holding classes on the 11th and 12th. WCCC will be having class both days and students can attend those classes on any day they are not testing.  The busses will also run for all these students at regular times.


Will all high schools be testing on the same dates?

All four high schools will be testing on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 11 and 12.

If I don’t want my student to take a test, what do I do?

Parents who wish to refuse state testing will be required to fill out the Parent Request for Exemption form which is located on Assessment Information website and bring it into their student’s school. Click here for link to the Parent Request for Exemption; 10th Grade, 11th Grade. One exemption form per student must be completed and returned by the parent to the administration office at FMHS. If you do not complete and exemption form for your student and they are absent on the day of testing, they will be pulled from class and tested on an alternative day.

If my student is not scheduled to test, should they come to school?

No. In order to properly administer each exam, we will be utilizing all staff to proctor exams and must maintain a testing environment. Teachers will not be available and the library and computer labs will be in use.
